✅ Product Description
Dog hair is made up of keratin and dead cells.
Unlike humans, who only have hair per follicle, dogs can have several.
Most follicles in dogs have sebaceous glands, and sebum keeps the skin supple and the hair soft.
For your dog to have healthy levels of sebum and follicular replacement, it is essential that he has a 100% complete and nutritionally balanced diet, but many breeds also need a frequent grooming regimen to show a beautiful shiny coat.
This is because, unlike cats, dogs do not clean their fur on their own.
Dog hair plays an essential role, it is essential to brush it daily and remove dead hair weekly.
A dog's fur acts as a temperature regulator and as a protector of the skin against the elements. The whiskers are your sensory receptors.
Dogs shed two types of fur: primary (the outermost) and secondary. When the hairs stop growing, they move to make room for the new hair that grows in the hair follicle.
The amount of fur that dogs shed varies greatly from breed to breed. Dead hair, if not removed regularly, can accumulate moisture, dust, dirt, mud, etc. If left on, over time the tangles can become a weed that tangles new follicles.
Removing these wires can be painful for your dog or irritate his skin, causing wounds that can become inflamed.
Bottom layers can create uncomfortable knots or tangles. These bristles are often formed in areas subject to friction, such as under the collar, behind the ears, in the armpits, on the hind legs if there is friction against each other or in the area where the dog comes into contact with the grass.
🐶 Shedding Tool's FURminator® Undercoat for large short-haired dogs removes 99% of stray hairs from the moult .
✅ Use it 1 or 2 times a week in 10-20 minute sessions on dry hair as part of the 4-step FURminator® hair reduction system.
👉 Instructions: Before using the Tool FURminator® Undercoat from Shedding Tool, do a thorough physical inspection of your pet. Look for possible wounds, bruises and skin problems hidden in your pet's fur. If your pet has any of these problems, consult your veterinarian before brushing them.
Also, before using the tool, remove tangles and tangles with the FURminator® Adjustable Tool or hygiene card.
Use the tool like a brush, gently stroking the pet's fur in the direction of hair growth, keeping the stainless steel blades angled toward the coat.
Start with your pet's head and work your way backwards, taking special care near the stomach, paws, genitals and anus.
Avoid making too many passes in a single area; instead, use less smooth, long strokes separate from your pet's skin.
While the Skin Guard® design prevents the edges from penetrating and contributes to the tool sliding across the skin, a deep or hard brushing can irritate your pet's skin, so avoid over-application. If you notice redness or irritation, stop using.
When your tool accumulates too much hair, it can be removed from the tool's blades by pressing the FURejector® button.
