DESCRIPTION:

• Association of highly digestible proteins (LIP proteins), prebiotics (fructo-oligosaccharides and manno-oligosaccharides), beet pulp, rice and fish oil to guarantee maximum digestive safety.


• With high energy density to meet the dog's needs, in a reduced volume of food per meal in order to limit the risk of digestive overload.


• It also promotes weight regain during the convalescence period.


• Dogs with digestive pathology often show a lack of appetite and weight loss.


• The high palatability favors the spontaneous consumption of food, facilitating the recovery of the animal. Incorporation of long-chain omega 3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), to preserve the integrity of the digestive tract.

• Rice, dehydrated poultry meat, animal fats, corn, hydrolysed animal proteins, yeasts, dehydrated egg, beet pulp, soy oil, minerals, vegetable fibres, fish oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, psyllium husk and seeds, yeast hydrolyzate.

Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal Canine Seco is indicated for: acute and chronic diarrhea, chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), poor digestion, malabsorption, convalescence, bacterial overgrowth, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), gastritis, colitis, anorexia.

Contraindications: pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis, hyperlipidemia, lymphangiectasia, hepatic encephalopathy (pathologies with indication of a low-fat diet).

Administration period: in case of acute illness, nutritional management should be prescribed for a minimum period of 3 weeks to favor the regeneration of the intestinal villi.

In case of chronic disease, feeding the animal may be necessary for the entire life of the animal.

To optimize digestive function, it is advisable to divide the daily dose into several meals.
