After my cat Tinks was diagnosed with asthma, I quickly discovered that most of the candles I bought in stores, and that I've used all my life, shouldn't be used around our 4-legged friends. And, to tell the truth, most of them not even with human beings. This is due to the fact that many of them use ingredients such as paraffin and also due to the (little known) fact that certain essential oils can be toxic when inhaled by animals.

This led me to create the Happy Paws Candle Company.

Happy Paws candles are made exclusively with natural ingredients : essential oils that are not harmful to animals and rapeseed oil ( Brassica napus) .

Our essential oils are 100% pure, which means nothing is added to the wax other than the product extracted from the plant. We only use oils that are safe to use around cats or dogs.

Our rapeseed oil is sourced in the UK and is natural, renewable and biodegradable. It burns slower and cooler than normal, helping to spread its fragrance better.

Our packaging is also environmentally friendly.

*While our ingredients are safe for bigeyes, please be responsible and ensure that - if they wish - your bigeyes can leave the place where the scent is being spread. If any unexpected irritation occurs, extinguish the candle immediately.
